New video recorded with guitarist Todd Baker

Last weekend the wonderful guitarist Todd Baker and I recorded a video at Lydian Studios in London. It is a cover of a really interesting tune called ‘This Side Up’ by Alex de Grassi.  It is quite a complicated and challenging composition but really great fun to play!  One of the most interesting things about the piece is the way the guitar and bass continually swap roles throughout, at one moment the bass will have a chordal section while the guitar takes the melody and the next moment the parts are reversed.

For more info about Todd and to watch his other videos check out his YouTube channel here. He has some really fantastic original compositions!
