Here's the latest in a series of impromptu jam sessions on guitarist Daryl Kellie’s wonderful houseboat. Joined by bassist Ida Hollis they played one of thier favourite Pat Metheny tunes 'Bright Size Life'.
Something a bit different! This is a cover version of a composition by Alex de Grassi & Michael Manring from the 'Demania' album. Quite a challenge to play and a bit of a workout, but lots of fun.

The Lydian Collective sound is a unique combination of accessible melodies, accomplished musicianship, hypnotic rhythms and an uplifting vibe, which has already been drawing in audiences from around the world. A unique combination of jazz musicianship, melodies that catch the ear and the heart, and infectious rhythms is brought together to winning effect on their first single release “Thirty One”, followed quickly by "Legend of Lumbar" and "Cascades" – and the debut album “Adventure” in March 2018.
Hattie Whitehead was born and raised in South West London constantly surrounded by music and words. She has been singing since she can remember, taping her first album at the tender age of 3, with her dad on guitar. The daughter of a jazz musician and a poet, she heard a lot of jazz and folk like James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Tracy Chapman and this began to shape her taste in music. Some years later, Hattie completed a music degree at Leeds University, gigging alongside her studies, and soon after finishing she discovered a passion for writing her own songs. A year later, she brought her band together and began performing her new material around London, to a great response.
